clockwise so you are traveling west across Logan Pass. FAR
better view of the scene in the picture above. Also,
Going to
the Sun Road is closed in winter and not opened until about July
1, so call ahead. Stop OFTEN. Those mountains are nearly 10,000 feet high, and Lake St Mary is 4400 feet, so those are HUGE cliffs and they're dotted with mountain goats. Stop at Logan Pass and walk the boardwalk across the high tundra. Keep an eye out for bears (really). Bring your camera. |
